Clinical Supervision

Renewal Comprehensive Services offers weekly, bi-weekly or monthly clinical supervision for master’s prepared social workers pursuing Illinois state licensure. Clinical supervision is provided in a 1:1 setting with an experienced licensed clinical social worker. By design, clinical supervision provides a supportive learning environment where developing practitioners can discuss clinical content, client experiences, and a range of other practice and policy related topics to further their professional knowledge and skills.

Contact hours are documented on an on-going basis by the clinical supervisor. Verification of completed supervision hours is provided at the end of the process to enable candidates to be eligible for the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) examination and to meet the requirements for state licensure from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
